Finland and New Zealand are leaders when it comes to the world’s least
corrupt countries, according to Transparency International’s Corruption
Perceptions Index 2012. The Corruption Perceptions Index is presented on
a scale from 0 (highly corrupt) to 100 (very clean).
India secures the 94th position in the index with a score of 36.
Denmark With a large welfare state and a highly prosperous economy, Demark is ranked as the least corrupt country in the world.Score: 90
Finland Finland is known to have a very low number of
corruption charges. It is believed that the nation has successfully
fought against government corruption and now Finland’s records are among
the worlds most transparent.Score: 90
New Zealand New Zealand is very well known for its democratic institutions strength, government transparency and lack of corruption.Score: 90
Sweden Sweden is considered to be one of the most
highly developed states in the world. The country is ranked among the

Singapore Singapore is consistently rated as one of the
least corrupt countries in the world. Singapore is known for its
freedom of speech, effective criminal justice, order and security.Score: 87
Switzerland Switzerland has the best environment
records among nations in the developed world. It is among the oldest
constitutions in the world and ranks as one of the top 10 countries with
least corruption.Score: 86
Australia With an organized political culture,
Australia is listed among the world’s top 10 countries which are known
to be transparent and least corrupt.Score: 85
Norway Norway uses a civil law system and features a
free market activity. The country is one of the least corrupt countries
in the world and a notable participant in international development.Score: 85
Canada The Canadian government guarantees basic rights
and freedoms that is usually not overridden. This makes Canada one of
