💘 Men Fall in Love Faster Than Women – Science Confirms It!

New research reveals that men tumble into love quicker—and more often—than women do!

Key Findings from the Study:

🔹 Men fall in love ~1 month faster than women
🔹 30% of men said they fell in love before the relationship was official (vs. <20% of women)
🔹 Women experience deeper romantic intensity—they think about their partners more obsessively
🔹 Men report falling in love more often but show slightly less commitment

Why the Difference?

Researchers suggest:
💡 Evolutionary pressure – Men may feel compelled to commit faster to attract partners
💡 Social norms – Countries with higher gender equality saw less frequent love and obsession

The Bigger Picture

This global study (808 adults across 33 countries) is the first strong evidence of gender differences in romantic love.

"Romantic love is under-researched—we want to help people understand it," says lead researcher Adam Bode (ANU).
