DBT Sponsored Training Programme Whole Genome sequencing and annotation February 21 st - 25th, 2012 Organized by Bioinformatics Centre Indian Institute of Spices Research P.B.No: 1701, Marikunnu P.O. Calicut -673012, Kerala Objectives: To provide a hands on training on Whole genome sequencing and their annotation. Contents: 1. Next generation sequencing 2. Assembly and visualization 3. Annotation and variant analysis 4. Transcriptome analysis 5. Comparative genomics Who can attend?: The programme is intended for scientists, researchers and post graduate students actively engaged in biotechnology Imolecular biology research and who are keen to learn about bioinformatics applications.
